学校から帰ると、ファッションショーを繰り広げ、布やティッシュペーパーで人形の服を作りデザイナーを夢見ていたが、

大地震が起こると言われる地域で育ったため、自然災害に関心を持ち、環境・防災について学んだ。

自然や環境に対する考え方、安心安全のためのつながりの不可欠さを知ったことは、

自然と人工、そこにある感情を表現する面で、MIYUKIに影響を与えた。

そして約6年前、友人へのプレゼントに個性的な創作ができるものを探して、

プリザーブドフラワーと出会う。

花だけでは表現しきれない偶然の出会いという世界を、

自然や人など日常にある景色のイメージに合わせアクリル・水彩を用い、

そこに存在する感情は繊細さにこだわってペンで描き、

時にはプリザーブドフラワーやワイヤーアートを溶け込ませ、様々なカタチで花を入れ込み制作している。

MIYUKI dreamed of being a fashion designer. Everyday after school, she would do a fashion show by herself and made doll clothes with cloth and tissues.
She was also interested in natural disasters because she grew up in an area known to expect a big earthquake. She learned about the environment and disaster prevention. Knowledge in this area and understanding the necessity of connections within the community to ensure safety and security, influenced her artworks.
About 6 years ago, when she was looking for a unique gift for her friend, she came across a preserved flower arrangement and learned about flower design.
She now depicts “Serendipity” that can only be expressed by flowers.
She paints everyday sceneries, such as nature and people, with acrylics and watercolors, and delicately draws the emotions. She sometimes uses preserved flowers, artificial flowers and artistic wires. 
Her artworks are created with various flowers.
